Hold tight,  here comes Cribbar!

Our new album - of which we are extremely proud - will officially hit our shores on June 19th,  but if you order it in advance you will have it well before that. This is our first recording with Steve Hunt in the line-up. The album features some very fine guests,  including Jen Dyer (viola),  Kyt Le Nen-Davey (accordian),  Will Coleman (pipes) and the mighty voices of The Perraners. The music includes previously unheard material as well as favourites from our live performances,  and pieces specially commisioned for the hugely successful shows One Day, Two Dawns and Oh Mary.

Speaking of One Day, Two Dawns: We are very pleased to announce that this remarkably successful Anglo-Cornish collaboration has won a prestigous Royal Philharmonic Society award. The show, which was performed at the Hall for Cornwall in 2009,  was very much a team effort between English Touring Opera, The Hall for Cornwall, and local Cornish professionals and community performers. We are very proud of everyone involved, and Hilary was delighted to represent us at the glittering awards ceremony held at the Dorchester Hotel, London, and broadcasted on BBC Radio.3.

We are busy putting together our 'Cribbar' album tour for the Autumn, as well as making plans for a launch party in June. We also have a few nice gigs and festivals coming up in the summer,  See Dalla Diary  for details.
